Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to common questions about the Arcos Program, online coaching, accountability, and how the system works.

Who is the Arcos Program for?
Arcos is built for experienced trainees, former athletes, serious lifters, and driven adults who want more from their training, health, or performance. It is a strong fit for people who already understand effort but want better structure, accountability, and coaching support.
Do I need to be advanced to join?
You do not need to be an elite athlete, but Arcos is best for people who already have some training experience. True beginners often benefit from hands-on personal training first. If you already have a training foundation and want a more structured path forward, Arcos may be a strong fit.
Why would I need coaching if I already know how to train?

Many Arcos clients already know how to train. The value of coaching is not simply teaching basic exercises.

The value is programming, progression, accountability, recovery management, objective feedback, and helping you make better decisions over time.

Most experienced trainees already understand effort. What they often need is structure.

What exactly is included with Arcos coaching?
Arcos includes personalized programming, coach communication, progress review, accountability, program adjustments when needed, and delivery through the TrueCoach platform. The goal is to give your training a clear system rather than simply handing you workouts.
How is Arcos different from following another workout plan?
A workout plan gives you exercises. Coaching gives you structure, feedback, accountability, adjustment, and a person responsible for helping the plan stay aligned with your goals, recovery, schedule, and progress.
Is online coaching as effective as personal training?

Personal training and online coaching solve different problems.

Personal training is valuable when someone needs hands-on exercise instruction, real-time form guidance, or help learning how to train in a gym.

Online coaching is often a better fit for experienced trainees who already know how to perform the exercises but need programming, progression, accountability, and support making better training decisions over time.

What equipment do I need?
We build your program around the equipment and schedule you have. Most clients train in a commercial gym, home gym, or a mix of both. Your coach will use your available setup to build a plan that fits your reality while still moving you toward your goals.
What if I travel or get busy?
Life happens, and the plan can adjust. If you are traveling or going through a busy stretch, your coach can modify training with shorter sessions, alternate equipment options, lower-volume weeks, or more practical adjustments so training stays structured instead of becoming random.
How are programs delivered?
Arcos programming is delivered through TrueCoach. Your workouts, instructional videos, workout history, progress tracking, and coach communication are organized inside the platform so your training stays clear and accessible.
Who designs the programming?
The Arcos system was designed and is overseen by Dr. Wallace Wells, whose background includes exercise physiology, university-level teaching, and advanced academic work in human performance. Coaches work within the Arcos framework so programming decisions are guided by established standards rather than random preference.
Can I cancel monthly coaching?
Yes. Monthly coaching continues month to month and can be canceled with 30 days’ notice.
What happens after I join?
After you join, your coach will reach out, introduce themselves, and begin the onboarding process. You will complete an onboarding questionnaire, review your goals and training history, and receive your initial training plan through TrueCoach. Most clients are fully onboarded and training within 3–5 days.
