At AFT Fitness Coaching, our certified personal fitness trainers build science-based workout routines and nutrition plans for each individual client.

However, that is just the beginning. A plan is only as good as its execution. The plan must be consistently followed. Day in and day out, week after week, month after month. That is the key to long term, lasting change.

The secret sauce to a successful health and fitness plan is consistency. Our secret sauce is our personalized coaching. It’s our goal, as fitness coaches, to provide our clients with the support needed to consistently follow the plan.

What Makes Our Certified Personal Fitness Trainers So Effective?

Accessibility: Our experienced personal trainers are always available.

  • Have a question about your exercise form? Just upload a video of you performing it and your coach will offer you feedback.
  • Traveling for work unexpectedly? Your dedicated online  personal trainer can adjust your plan to accommodate your new schedule and/or access to equipment.
  • Did you enjoy your weekend a little too much and need some extra help getting back on track?  Call, email, or text your coach to discuss a strategy or just to receive a pep talk.

Communication: Bi-Weekly meetings via zoom or call (your choice)

  • Open and honest discussion about your progress, how you are feeling, feedback on what you like and do not like.
  • Q&A session about your program, where you are at, and where you are going regarding the big picture.
  •  Review any minor adjustments or major changes made to your program.

Motivation & Accountability: What gets measured, gets results. And we measure everything. We track all the metrics (that you are comfortable with) and use that to help hold our clients accountable.

  • Not feeling like working out today? Well, your fitness coach can see that you already missed one workout this week. Do you really want to miss another and then get called out by your coach?
  • Worried that you are not making as much progress as you would like?  Look at some of your progress pictures and see how far you have already come.
  • Getting bored with your workout routine and need a change to help stay motivated? Reach out to your coach and work together on some productive adjustments to your program.
  • In a bit of a rut and feeling like you are not getting stronger? Your exercise log says otherwise.

Personality and Skills Fit: We pair the right clients with the right certified personal fitness trainer. 

  • Aside from the normal requests such as wanting to work with a certain gender, we also want to be sure that you and you coach mesh when it comes to personality and styles.
  • Some clients prefer a more nurturing approach to being coached. Some prefer more of a drill sergeant type.  Some clients prefer more of a mix. No matter what your preference is, we can pair you with a coach that fits your style.

Are you a sport specific athlete or looking for a coach with a similar passion or a specific area of expertise?

  • Entering your first powerlifting meet or weightlifting meet?  We have championship winning coaches that can walk you through it.
  • Thinking of competing in a bodybuilding show?  We have coaches that have been there and done that.
  • Want to run your first marathon, enter a triathlon, or participate in an endurance challenge? We are on it.
  • Just had a major surgery and need help with your rehabilitation program?  We have coaches that have worked in a clinical setting and have experience with rehab.

Yes, we have our standard way of doing things. But, as the coach and client relationship grows, we often find that everyone has their own unique needs when it comes to what motivates them, what holds them accountable, what they enjoy doing, what they hate, etc. 

Therefore, we prioritize effective communication, trust-building, attentive listening, and proactive adaptation, considering these elements as essential pillars for the success of our clients.
